Target Security Specialist leveraging assets protection and intelligence-led security practices to maintain a safe guest and team environment. Responsibilities include crisis response, crowd management, de-escalation, documenting incidents in case management systems, operating Target's video surveillance system, performing merchandise receipt checks in line with AP policies, and collaborating with store leadership and public safety officials to prevent theft and disruptions while delivering a friendly guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
- Appropriate licensure or state/local requirements as applicable to security role
