Job Summary
Protect guests, team members, and Target brand as a Security Specialist by employing intelligence-led tactics, crisis response, and de-escalation to maintain a safe store environment. Responsibilities include responding to security incidents, documenting cases in the case management system, performing merchandise loss prevention and theft apprehension, operating Target's video surveillance systems, supporting peers, and promoting a culture of safety and ethical conduct while delivering an easy, inspiring guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
- Climb ladders and work in varying temperatures/humidity
