Job Summary
Target Security Specialist responsible for applying intelligence-led security to safeguard guests, team members, and brand assets. Responsibilities include crisis response and crowd management, de-escalation, maintaining physical security controls, operating Target's video surveillance system, documenting cases in the case management system, performing theft recoveries and prevention checks, and supporting store operations while delivering a friendly, helpful guest experience. Must meet basic requirements and be able to adapt to a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
