Target Security Specialist

Target Security Specialist responsible for protecting guests, team members and the store by applying assets protection and surveillance techniques, responding to security incidents, documenting cases in the case management system, coordinating with store leadership and public safety, and using de-escalation to maintain a safe shopping environment. Responsibilities include monitoring video surveillance, performing merchandise receipt checks, preventing theft and shortage, and supporting team members in a fast-paced, physically demanding store setting. Key skills include de-escalation, crisis response, incident documentation, teamwork, flexible scheduling (nights, weekends, holidays), and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Must be at least 18 years old and meet state/licensure or legal requirements related to the position.
