Job Summary
Taproom General Manager for a multi-unit operation leading day-to-day activities across Santa Rosa, Petaluma, and Novato taprooms (and coordinating off-site events). Expected to drive guest experience, staffing, beverage ordering and receiving, daily/weekly accounting, repairs and maintenance, supplies, event programming, and SOPs across locations. Direct management of taproom teams including hiring, training, development, discipline, and performance management. Responsible for scheduling staff across multiple locations, setting performance expectations, maintaining safe working conditions, and ensuring compliance with SOPs. Requires strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for craft beer and hospitality, plus the ability to adapt to changing priorities and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year multi-unit management experience
- 3+ years experience as GM or equivalent of taprooms, bars, restaurants
- 5+ years in the beer, bar, or restaurant industry
- Deep connection and understanding of the local Sonoma / Marin market
- Depth of knowledge within the general craft beer industry as well as local craft beer scene
- Passion for local craft beer
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to develop and maintain SOPs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Versatility, flexibility, dependability and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
