Job Summary
CIPP Sewer Lining Tap Cutter Operator needed to support sewer rehabilitation projects in the Baltimore/DC area and nationally. Operate robotic tap cutting and lateral reinstatement equipment inside CIPP-lined sewer systems, perform daily preventative maintenance, monitor operations and logs, conduct inspections, and document malfunctions. Requires hands-on proficiency with robotic reinstatement cutter systems, 3+ years of relevant experience, willingness to travel 75-90% of the time, and CDL preferred. Standard shift is 8-10 hours with overtime on active projects; travel and overnight stays are common.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in lateral service reinstatements and robotic tap cutting operations
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and maintain robotic reinstatement cutter systems
- CDL Class A or Class B with Tanker endorsement preferred
- Ability to travel 75%-90% of the time for project assignments across the U.S.
- Strong attention to detail in recordkeeping, safety compliance, and equipment care
- Ability to travel 1-2 weeks at a time on overnights.
