Job Summary
Tanning Representative at a fitness/wellness club delivering exceptional customer service, promoting wellness and tanning services, and driving retail and tanning product sales. Responsibilities include member consultations, recommending safe tanning times and services based on skin type, explaining tanning bed differences and spray tanning options, guiding product usage, achieving sales goals, upselling and cross-promoting services, participating in social media and community outreach, maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of tanning/recovery areas, handling administrative paperwork, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, retail/customer-service/sales experience, strong communication skills, demonstrated ability to meet sales targets, reliable transportation, CPR/AED and SmartTan certifications, and US work authorization.
Required Qualifications

- Minimum age of 18 years
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales environment required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
- Reliable transportation required
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Certifications: CPR/AED Certification; SmartTan Certification (provided by Fitness Ventures LLC upon hire)
