Job Summary
Tanning Representative responsible for member consultations, selling tanning services and retail products, and delivering safe, informed guidance on tanning options. Role emphasizes high-quality customer service, driving sales, upholding sanitation and safety standards, and maintaining knowledge of tanning equipment, hydro-massage systems, and spray tanning services. Must promote wellness services, assist with club offerings, and complete administrative tasks while adhering to company policies. Certifications include CPR/AED and SmartTan; 18+ and a high school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail/customer service/sales experience preferred. Location in Louisville, KY with part-time hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales environment required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Certifications: Current CPR/AED Certification.
- SmartTan Certification (provided by Fitness Ventures LLC upon hire).
