Job Summary
The Tankerman Marine Vessels Inland is responsible for operational, maintenance, housekeeping, and safety duties aboard marine vessels. Responsibilities include making up tows, assisting with locking vessels, performing routine maintenance such as chipping and painting, as well as keeping the vessel clean and safe. Applicants must possess a valid Driver’s License, a TWIC card, and a current USCG Tankerman Document (PIC-DL). A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a strong work ethic and the ability to learn technical operations related to liquid cargo processes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and TWIC card
- Must have current USCG Tankerman Document (PIC-DL)
- Tank Barge Fire Fighting
- High school diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to train on barge transfers including loads and discharges from start to finish
- Ability to learn and demonstrate knowledge of heater operation
- Strong work ethic
