Job Summary
Conduct welding and fitting on mild steel and stainless steel using MIG, TIG, gas, and brazing processes. Perform thermal cutting, grinding, and repairs including hole filling and part enlargement. Order parts and supplies, maintain a clean work environment, and adhere to OSHA safety standards for hazardous waste. Operate an acetylene torch and read job sheets while wearing a respirator as needed. Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to utilize both MIG and TIG
- Possess both welding and fitting skills
- Ability to operate an acetylene torch
- Read and comprehend measurements, and job sheets
- Worked in an industrial setting
- High school diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Welding Certificate is a plus, but not required
