Job Summary
Conduct welding and fitting of mild steel and stainless steel using MIG, TIG, gas welding, brazing, and arc processes. Perform thermal cutting, grinding, repairing broken or cracked parts, filling holes, and increasing metal part sizes. Order and receive parts and supplies as needed while adhering to OSHA safety and environmental policies for hazardous waste disposal. Maintain a clean work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety. Wear a respirator as required. Read and comprehend measurements and job sheets. Requires high school diploma or GED and industrial setting experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to utilize both MIG and TIG
- Possess both welding and fitting skills
- Ability to operate an acetylene torch
