Job Summary
Perform MIG welding operations on various metal components while reading and interpreting blueprints to determine welding specifications. Use power tools and hand tools to fabricate and assemble metal parts, then operate cranes and lifting equipment to move heavy materials. Inspect welded joints for quality, making necessary repairs or adjustments as required. Candidates must pass a leak test and demonstrate proficiency with a tape measure. This role offers a $23-$25 hourly rate with overtime and double-time available for 2nd shift coverage. Skilled Trades Specialists seeks individuals with a positive attitude and experience in MIG welding or similar roles who can continue learning.
