Tank Superintendent

Job Summary
Oversee field crews and equipment while acting as the liaison between engineering, QA/QC, and customers to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications. Conduct daily coordination meetings, review NDE reports, and monitor work performance to maintain safety culture and procedural standards. Assist in pre-job planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for aboveground storage tank and specialty vessel projects across Florida, Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas. Deliver training to skilled craft and advise management on potential schedule difficulties or work interferences.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a Site Supervisory role
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent understanding of Aboveground Storage Tanks and Specialty Vessels - focus on New Tanks, Cryogenic Tanks and Spheres
- Experience running a crew
- Ability to read blueprints
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to travel to multiple project sites in different states throughout the year
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of API standards
