Job Summary
The Tank Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager, overseeing field crews and equipment, ensuring compliance with construction specifications, and promoting a safety culture. Key duties include supervising skilled welders, coordinating project schedules, providing training, and monitoring project compliance with technical standards. Requires strong communication skills and a minimum of 5 years in site supervision, along with expertise in Aboveground Storage Tanks and experience in crew management.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a Site Supervisory role
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent understanding of Aboveground Storage Tanks and Specialty Vessels - focus on New Tanks, Cryogenic Tanks and Spheres
- Experience running a crew
- Ability to read blueprints
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to travel to multiple project sites in different states throughout the year
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of API standards
