Job Summary
Tank Operator in a metalizing fabrics production environment. Responsible for following documented metalizing and sensitizing procedures to produce fabrics meeting customer specifications and quality/safety standards. Works in a manufacturing team (2-3 people), uses computer software for time and attendance, efficiency, quality assurance, and procedural data collection; maintains PPE usage and adheres to safety and production protocols; performs tasks such as roping, opening up, detangling, and flat folding as part of the metalizing process; reacts to procedural issues, defects, and unsafe acts, and communicates with supervisors as needed. Requires basic reading of operating instructions, basic math, mechanical aptitude, and good attention to detail. Education: High School Diploma, GED or trade school; Experience: 0-2 years; environment includes lab/manufacturing with exposure to specialty chemicals; shift M-F 6:30AM-3PM; ITAR requirement for U.S. person status.
