Tank Coordinator

Job Summary
Drive field work for an assigned area during Tank Project execution to ensure activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable standards. Lead daily project meetings and coordinate with Contractors, Operations, Projects, and Engineering Discipline Groups to deliver the project per the agreed plan, scope, budget, and schedule. Manage schedule updates, validate work completion and material receipt, and authorize timesheets for assigned contractors. Ensure crafts and contractors remain highly productive by removing barriers, oversee quality metrics including material and flange tightness, and handle cost management within the approved budget. Escalate schedule deviations to the tank maintenance supervisor when targets cannot be met. Participate in Lessons Learned and Look back processes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in industrial setting
- Minimum high school diploma
- Must currently hold or be able to qualify to receive a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must have sufficient understanding of various technical disciplines
- Must have ownership of project execution per the approved scope of work
- Must have a thorough understanding of the commercial requirements for contractor work execution
- Must have the ability to validate the project estimate versus actual work completed
- Must have proven skills in managing crafts
- Must have proven skills in project management
- Must have written and verbal communication skills
- Must have skills in coordinating field activity execution
- Must be able to work occasional extended work hours during planned and unplanned events
Desired Qualifications
