Job Summary
Full-time Tank Builder/Welder performing arc and torch cutting and gouging to fabricate, repair, and construct above-ground metal storage tanks and related structures nationwide. Responsibilities include welding with 7018, 7024, 6010 (SMAW), FCAW, and submerged arc automatic machines; operating lifting and fabrication equipment; conducting non-destructive testing (vacuum box tests, oil tests, dye penetrant tests); using gas monitors and safety equipment; reading erection and fabrication drawings; planning fitting, welding, repairing, and constructing tanks; completing safety analyses and site-specific training; and collaborating with crew members while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Be willing to authorize background checks
- Have no criminal convictions for dishonesty, sexual misconduct, violence, or acts of terrorism
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Be willing to authorize motor vehicle driving record checks
- Be willing to submit to pre-hire, random, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to weld is a plus
