Job Summary

Tank Builder / Welder role performing arc and torch cutting, welding with 7018/7024/6010 SMAW, FCAW, and submerged arc processes; use of generators, compressors, grinders, tank shell buggies, scaffolding, and lifting equipment; perform non-destructive tests (vacuum box, oil tests, dye penetrant); read erection and fabrication drawings; plan fitting and welding sequences; adhere to safety standards and complete safety training; collaborate with crew members on nationwide tank construction/repair projects and maintain strong communication and attendance. Required high school diploma or equivalent, US work eligibility, ability to lift 50 lbs, background and drug testing, and valid driver’s license. Welding experience is a plus and position is full-time with competitive benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • eligible to work in the United States
  • be willing to authorize background checks
  • be willing to authorize motor vehicle driving record checks
  • be willing to submit to pre-hire, random, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing
  • be 18 years or older
  • able to lift 50 lbs
  • welding ability is a plus
  • have valid driver’s license
  • no criminal convictions for dishonesty, sexual misconduct, violence, or acts of terrorism
