Job Summary
Tank Builder / Welder responsible for arc and torch cutting and gouging, welding tanks with SMAW/FCAW and submerged arc processes, and assembling above-ground metal storage tanks across nationwide projects. Duties include using generators, compressors, tank shell buggies, scaffolding, rigging, and lifting equipment; performing non-destructive testing such as vacuum box tests, dye penetrant tests, and oil tests; following job safety analyses and site-specific training; reading detailed erection and fabrication drawings; coordinating with crew members and ensuring safety and quality during tank construction and repair.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years old
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Willing to authorize background checks
- Willing to authorize motor vehicle driving record checks
- Willing to submit to pre-hire, random, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing
- Be able to lift 50 lbs
- Be willing to authorize drug testing
- Be willing to work with safety protocols
- Welding ability a plus
