Job Summary
Full-time Tank Builder / Welder responsible for arc and torch cutting and gouging, welding with 7018/7024/6010 SMAW and FCAW, submerged arc automation, and use of lifting equipment and safety gear. Includes reading detailed erection and fabrication drawings, planning welding/repair sequences, performing non-destructive testing such as dye penetrant and oil tests, operating generators, compressors, tank shell buggies, scaffolding, ladders, and other specialized equipment, and collaborating with crew members to complete tank construction projects nationwide. Required to maintain safety standards, participate in safety training, and assist with quality examinations and routine site activities.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Be willing to authorize background checks
- Be willing to authorize motor vehicle driving record checks
- Be willing to submit to pre-hire, random, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing
- Be able to lift 50 lbs
- Have a valid driver’s license
- No criminal convictions for dishonesty, sexual misconduct, violence, or acts of terrorism
