Job Summary
Full-time Tank Builder / Welder responsible for arc and torch cutting and gouging; welding plate with 7018, 7024 and 6010 SMAW, flux core FCAW, and submerged arc automatic machines; using lifting and support equipment; performing non-destructive tests (vacuum box, oil tests, dye penetrant); operating gas monitors and safety equipment; reading detailed erection and fabrication drawings; planning fitting up, welding, repairing, and constructing tanks; following safety protocols and collaborating with crew members.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Be willing to authorize background checks
- Have no criminal convictions for dishonesty, sexual misconduct, violence, or acts of terrorism
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Be willing to authorize motor vehicle driving record checks
- Be willing to submit to pre-hire, random, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to weld is a plus
