Job Summary
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, then haul asphalt from the plant to job sites while managing tarping and load securing. Maintain the vehicle in a clean, organized, and safe condition. Navigate to job sites following dispatcher instructions and solve problems independently. Requires a Class 3 license with air endorsement, two years of heavy truck experience, and ability to work weekends and overtime. Seasonal shift work includes day and night rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Responsible, safe and dependable drivers
- Class 3 License with air endorsement
- 2 year Heavy Truck experience
- Available to work Weekends as needed
- Able to work overtime
- Team player
- Follow instructions from dispatcher
- Navigate to job sites
- Driver Abstract required
- Criminal record check required
Desired Qualifications
- Drive Manual or Automatic Transmission
- Dump Truck Experience
- Asphalt Experience ( considered an asset)
- Able to operate loader considered an asset)
- Problem solving/ Work Independently
- Basic Mechanical Knowledge
