Job Summary
Deliver AHA/ARC CPR and BLS training sessions, demonstrating proper techniques and evaluating student performance to ensure certification requirements are met. Prepare lesson plans, provide clear feedback throughout courses, and maintain training equipment including at least three manikin sets. Work in person at scheduled locations, primarily on weekends with weekday availability preferred, while managing classroom dynamics and adhering to course standards. Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds during instruction. Compensation ranges from $25 to $45 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CPR Instructor Certification
- Strong knowledge of CPR and AED procedures
- Clear communication and teaching skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable time-management skills
- Ability to work with students of different experience levels
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and transport training equipment up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to physically demonstrate proper CPR and AED skills during class
- Weekday availability is preferred
- Must be able to provide and manage their own CPR training equipment
- Minimum of three manikin sets
