The Tally directs and communicates daily priorities to stackers, coordinates with the Production Supervisor on labor needs, and ensures accurate tagging and labeling of inventory. Responsibilities include turning sizes on/off based on the current cut bill, generating end-of-shift error reports, verifying items for planning, printing visuals of the cut bill, managing tag accuracy, coordinating returns, and updating the visual as orders near completion. The role requires instructing the team during downtime, maintaining orderly work areas, ensuring core sort and line feeds stay on schedule, documenting tasks in order, overseeing housekeeping, and upholding quality standards for length, defects, width, and piece counts. The Floor Lead responsibilities involve supporting the Shift Supervisor, aiding in stacking when needed, monitoring breaks, enforcing safety procedures, assisting with injury reports, and ensuring adequate supplies. A high school diploma and leadership ability are required; SAP experience is desirable but not required; experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
