Job Summary
Remote mental health therapy role serving children and adults in New York. Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy via telehealth using evidence-based approaches for a diversified patient population. Role emphasizes 100% remote work within New York state, with responsibilities including conducting remote therapy, completing intakes and treatment plans, maintaining charts and documentation within 24 hours, case management, and participating in weekly supervision. Requires MHC-LP or progress toward licensure, a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, and the ability to work independently with strong communication skills. Eligible for flexible scheduling with referrals to build caseload, and supervision and insurance/billing support are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling
- MHC-LP (or working towards MHC-LP)
- Certificate of Professional Liability Insurance upon hire
- Ability to work remotely in New York
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with various theoretical approaches
- Experience with telehealth platforms (Zoom) and client documentation
- Completion of initial intakes, treatment plans, and progress notes within 24 hours of service
- Case management and care coordination
- Weekly supervision participation
- Licensed/permit status as Mental Health Counselor (Limited Permit) preferred
