Job Summary
Proactively source passive candidates via X, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, and niche technical forums to build and maintain strong pipelines for hard-to-fill engineering roles. Leverage AI-powered sourcing tools to increase pipeline speed while partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to refine sourcing strategies. Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screens, track sourcing metrics, and represent SpaceX's mission to prospective candidates. Stay current on market trends and competitor talent pools. This temporary role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience, with a preference for technical recruiting and Boolean search skills. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required due to ITAR regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of recruiting experience
- associate degree and 2+ years of experience
- 3+ years of professional experience as a recruiter in lieu of a degree
- U.S. citizen or national
- U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder)
- Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157
- Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158
- eligibility to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of technical recruiting experience
- Experience sourcing for engineering, hardware, or technical manufacturing roles
- Strong Boolean/X-ray search skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and sourcing tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to distinguish between the top 50% and the top 5% of talent within their respective fields
- High tolerance for ambiguity and a bias toward action
