Job Summary
Talent Scout responsible for attracting and engaging top talent for AMA in Alberta. You will craft engaging job ads, source resumes across channels, construct interview guides, participate in interviews with hiring managers, leverage social media for candidate marketing, and lead recruitment initiatives. You’ll act as a consultant to hiring managers on labor market trends, maintain a current candidate pipeline, and promote AMA’s total rewards. The role emphasizes building partnerships, staying organized amid change, and communicating effectively to uphold AMA’s Practically Family culture. The position starts 100% onsite at the AMA Kingsway location with a transition to hybrid light schedules (onsite once a week) and may operate within hybrid-light work models. You’ll work under the Supervisor, Recruitment, and contribute to evolving recruitment strategies and tools. Requirements include post-secondary HR/business education and 2-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with ATS familiarity and a proactive, strategic mindset, plus a commitment to inclusivity and accommodations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- You have a post-secondary diploma, degree or certificate in HR or Business
- 2-5 years under your belt managing the full recruitment cycle
- If you have at least 3 years of experience in recruiting hard-to-fill technical roles, that would be a bonus
- Familiarity with Workday Recruiting or a comparable Applicant Tracking System
- High degree of personal computing skills across software applications supporting talent acquisition
