Job Summary
Lead employee relations programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. Advise and coach managers on the resolution of complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, and conduct investigations into such matters. Consult and guide internal clients on HR topics like performance management, terminations, and policy applications. Support the Talent Resources Director in implementing talent management programs such as performance management and succession planning. Oversee onboarding and offboarding, including coordinating with IT and HR operations and assisting with exit interviews. Recommend innovative approaches to policies and procedures to support continual improvements in efficiency. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Strong "People First" interest and ability.
- Knowledge of employment and labor laws (for example, EEOC, ADEA, ADA, FMLA and FLSA laws.)
- Knowledge of relevant Federal and State regulations.
- Demonstrated skills with Google Platform & MS Office Suite & HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated competency with relationship building and collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated conflict management skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making.
- Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks.
- Presence, confidence, and communications skills that assure effective participation at all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated coaching skills
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business, Organizational development, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR
Desired Qualifications
- HR certification or currently pursuing a certification (SHRM-CP certification or PHR)
