Talent Pool: High School Maths/Maths Literacy Educators - 2026

SPARK Schools’ high school SP and FET Phase Maths/Maths Lit Educators drive student achievement by delivering and co-teaching face-to-face and distance lessons, collaborate with grade-level partners to create engaging, differentiated learning experiences, and implement individualised behaviour and learning plans. Responsibilities include developing formative and termly assessments, tracking student progress through data analysis, leading social and emotional development through CQ sessions, planning programs to support low performers or extend high achievers, engaging in place-based and career/tertiary pathways education, and promoting SPARK culture while adhering to child-protection, anti-bullying, health & safety policies. Requirements include an English proficient communicator with a B.Ed or PGCE in Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy (Senior & FET Phase), SACE registration, a clear criminal record, 2–3 years of high school experience, and a commitment to SPARK’s values. The role is based at SPARK Schools’ Western Cape campuses (Blue Downs) and may involve Saturday events and parent community meetings.
