Job Summary
Operate industrial cleaning equipment including scrubbing machines, carpet extractors, leaf blowers, and pressure washers while disinfecting high-touch areas and sweeping, mopping, and dusting common spaces like hallways, lobbies, and kitchens. Collect trash in garbage containers, spot clean walls, ceilings, light fixtures, and window sills, and perform general maintenance duties under the Janitorial Industry. Work outside in all weather conditions, follow work orders when requested by clients, and complete additional tasks assigned by the manager. Ensure all work is finished by the end of the shift with minimal supervision. Eligible for security clearance and legally eligible to work in Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use and operate industrial and or heavy cleaning machines and equipment
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
- Be eligible to obtain applicable security clearance(s)
- Eligibility to work in Canada
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with heavy cleaning machinery
- Knowledge of WHMIS
