Job Summary
R&D Contract Recruiter role focused on sourcing, attracting, and hiring talent for Abnormal's Engineering teams, with a goal to build a robust pipeline and achieve quarterly hiring starts. You will craft messaging to attract passive talent, conduct recruiter phone screens, manage a defined set of requisitions, collaborate with hiring leaders, and maintain strong data integrity while operating in a remote US-based environment. The position requires partnering with Senior recruiters on the most competitive searches, understanding internal org structures, and delivering results in a high-volume setting. The role supports two hires across Senior and Mid levels, with at least one position East Coast based, on a 6-month contract through the end of 2026, with potential extension.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (SaaS or similar)
- Experience partnering with hiring teams in a consultative capacity
- Working fluency with Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter (or comparable ATS)
- Ability to build pipeline and messaging to attract passive talent
- Ability to conduct recruiter phone screens (8-15 per week, scaling with experience)
- Experience in high-volume recruiting environments
- Strong data integrity and stakeholder communication skills
