Job Summary
Manage a caseload of participants by conducting regular individual meetings to assess competencies, work history, and skills, then creating personalized employment plans for job search, education, and retention. Provide counseling and mentoring while maintaining accurate records in electronic and paper files, ensuring accountability through attendance tracking and periodic contact across various locations. Facilitate access to training, education, and job-specific resources, including tools like Resume-Pro and Project Chief Executive Officer, to improve job readiness scores and support self-sufficiency. Conduct follow-up outreach for disengaged students and notify government agencies of employment changes.
Required Qualifications
- Related Associate degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience
- Related work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources
- Able to communicate effectively to both oral and written
Desired Qualifications
- One to three years' experience in workforce development or related programs preferred
