Job Summary

Talent Development Specialist responsible for hands-on training to support and develop all team members, delivering in-person and virtual training, coaching on-the-job, designing and delivering curricula aligned with regulatory and company requirements, tracking training records, ensuring content accuracy, and partnering with Talent Acquisition, Benefit Specialist, and leadership to identify training needs, develop leadership development programs, and support onboarding and continuous improvement efforts. The role requires strong public speaking, cross-functional collaboration, program design, and ability to manage multiple training groups, with a focus on driving performance, compliance, and employee growth within a financial institution. Must maintain professional conduct, adhere to EEO policies, and operate in a fast-paced banking environment with potential travel and a valid driver's license if required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience in training and facilitation in a financial institution or corporate environment with a supervisory background
  • Minimum 2 years of onboarding, training or employee development experience (strongly desired)
  • Experience training in a regulated environment (healthcare, financial services, utilities, etc.) (strongly desired)
  • Certified Training Professional (CTP) Certification from the Association for Financial Professionals is preferred
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Comfortable facilitating both in-person and virtual training sessions
  • Ability to manage multiple training groups and remain highly organized
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Professionalism and handling of sensitive employee information
  • Passion for coaching, employee growth and team development
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite
  • Intermediate typing skills for production needs
  • Basic math skills and ability to interpret data and generate reports
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to handle complex problems with multiple facets and variables
  • Ability to work with no supervision
  • Current driver’s license and vehicle if required to drive in course of duties
