Job Summary
Conduct individual assessments to provide career guidance and counseling to job seekers, focusing on WIOA eligibility. Manage detailed case plans to assist customers in employment preparation and self-sufficiency, including tracking training attendance, job searches, and authorizing supportive services like childcare and transportation. Maintain community resource contacts and deliver labor market information while ensuring contract deliverables and individual goals are met. Outreach to employers, agencies, and non-profits to place participants in subsidized employment, then follow up on progress and submit payroll information. Submit weekly and monthly reports on program progress, expenditures, and employment outcomes. Perform workshops and orientations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma
- Associate's degree
- at least one year of Sales/Customer Service experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally in an individual or group setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong speaking skills

- time management skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

- Current driver's license
