Job Summary

Manage a caseload of participants by conducting regular individual meetings for job search, education, and job readiness. Assess competencies, work history, and skills to identify employment challenges, then create individualized employment plans for short- and long-term goals. Coordinate case management to facilitate access to training, education, and job-specific information while ensuring accountability and tracking retention. Prepare and maintain accurate participant files, including electronic and paper records of supportive services and assessments. Provide counseling, mentoring, and follow-up outreach to students not engaged in classroom activities, ensuring they complete assignments and advance toward self-sufficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Related Associate degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience
  • Related work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources

Desired Qualifications

  • One to three years' experience in workforce development or related programs preferred
