Job Summary
Lead recruitment and talent development for FutureSight's core team and ventures; source candidates through outbound efforts, referrals, events, and content; maintain the talent CRM as a living asset; build repeatable sourcing processes (scorecards, interview kits, sourcing playbooks); track funnel metrics to improve search speed and quality; collaborate with Studio partners and founders to shape teams from the ground up.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years in recruiting, sourcing, talent, or a related role, ideally with exposure to startups, VCs, or studios
- Sharp judgment about people
- A genuine interest in the startup ecosystem
- Excellent written and verbal communication, empathetic, curious, and direct
- Highly organized; you can run multiple searches in parallel without dropping threads
- Comfortable in ambiguity. We don't always know what we're hiring for on day one of a search
- Nice to have: Prior experience at a recruiting firm, early-stage VC, accelerator, or studio
- Nice to have: Exposure to B2B SaaS or AI startups
- Nice to have: A personal network in the Toronto or broader North American startup ecosystem
- Nice to have: Familiarity with DEI hiring practices
