Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and recruiting top talent, collaborating with agency teams to understand hiring needs and support the recruitment process. Essential duties include creating hiring processes, sourcing qualified applicants, reviewing resumes, assisting in job descriptions and interview questions, maintaining candidate records, and participating in recruitment events. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 2–5 years of experience in human resources or similar positions, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position involves fieldwork, requiring reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and completion of annual training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
- 2–5 years of experience in talent management/acquisition, recruitment, human resources, human services preferred.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with recruitment platforms (ex. Paycom, Indeed, Handshake, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) etc.)
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required, with proof of insurance
- Driver’s license check is a requirement
- Criminal background screening (fingerprinting) (Local Law Enforcement and FBI/FDLE)
- Drug Screening is a requirement
