Job Summary
Talent Acquisition Specialist responsible for administering full-cycle recruitment, advising SCC leaders on recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning; supporting talent development and organizational development initiatives; overseeing HRIS-related recruitment and onboarding modules; maintaining confidential HR records; tracking recruitment metrics and generating HRIS reports; ensuring compliance with employment standards and security requirements; collaborating with management and external agencies; and prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in various functional areas of Human Resources
- At least 3 years of direct experience in talent acquisition and recruitment
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and recruitment strategies
- Experience with Human Resource information systems (HRIS)
- Ability to interpret and apply organizational policy combined with knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, including the Official Languages Act, Canada Labour Code, Employment Standards, and the Canadian Human Rights Act
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to maintain data integrity and optimize recruitment workflows
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a confidential, fast-paced environment
