Job Summary
Talent Acquisition Specialist for high-volume skilled trades in construction, partnering with field leadership to staff electricians, journeymen, apprentices, laborers, foremen, and other craft professionals across multiple markets. Build and maintain pipelines through job boards, trade schools, unions, referrals, and industry networks; conduct candidate screenings for skills, certifications, work eligibility, and project fit; leverage bilingual English/Spanish communication to engage candidates and ensure a positive experience. Coordinate interviews, hiring events, job fairs, and recruiting campaigns; collaborate with onboarding and operations to ensure smooth transitions from offer to project onboarding; track metrics and maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS; promote the employer brand within the construction and skilled trades community.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years recruiting experience, preferably supporting construction, skilled trades, industrial, manufacturing, energy, or high-volume environments
- Experience recruiting for field-based construction roles (electricians, journeymen, apprentices, laborers, foremen, etc.)
- Experience managing high-volume requisitions across multiple projects/locations
- Strong sourcing/networking skills using Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, trade-specific boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach
- Ability to build relationships with field leadership, hiring managers, and candidates
- Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of construction workforce trends and best practices
- Experience conducting hiring events, job fairs, and community-based recruiting
- Proficiency with ATS and Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel locally to support events/site visits
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent recruiting experience considered
- Construction/ skilled trades/ field recruiting experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with workforce development programs and trade schools
- Experience supporting rapid workforce ramp-ups for large-scale projects
