Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Summary
Talent Acquisition Specialist leads full-cycle recruitment across departments, partners with department leaders to address workforce needs, collaborates with Marketing to develop creative recruitment strategies, builds and maintains job postings, sources candidates through multiple channels, and builds partnerships with colleges, universities, and community organizations to expand the organization’s candidate pipeline. The role requires managing intern inquiries, screening resumes, coordinating interview logistics, maintaining compliant recruitment records in ATS, monitoring recruiting metrics, representing the organization at career fairs and events, ensuring recruitment practices align with policies and employment law, and leveraging healthcare familiarity and CARF/DBHDS knowledge to inform sourcing and engagement strategies. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (preferred), at least 2 years of recruiting experience, strong interpersonal skills, experience with ATS/HRIS (Paycom preferred), and a track record of building stakeholder relationships in a nonprofit healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting/talent acquisition
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, recruitment best practices, and sourcing techniques
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms, Paycom preferred
- Preferred candidate has experience in healthcare settings as well as an understanding of CARF and DBHDS requirements
