Talent Acquisition Specialist I

Job Summary

Lead the full-cycle recruitment process by sourcing and qualifying candidates to build a robust pipeline for current and future positions. Manage 30 requisitions by creating job postings in the Applicant Tracking System, reviewing resumes, conducting phone and in-person interviews, and moving candidates through the software. Establish relationships with hiring managers and prospective employees while attending career fairs and leveraging diverse sourcing channels to drive candidate generation. Maintain detailed records for weekly reporting and roll-up activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements. Travel as required for in-person classes and annual education conferences.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in house recruiting and conducting the full interview process
  • ATS experience with sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates
  • Display knowledge of multiple recruiting sources (i.e., Indeed, Glassdoor, Craigslist, job fairs, trade schools, colleges, various employment resource centers, etc.)
  • possess proven sourcing techniques to identify and engage these resources
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Regular and reliable attendance during scheduled hours
  • Travel as required for in person classes and annual education conferences
  • Ability to multi-Task with multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 30 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction

Desired Qualifications

  • Willing to be trained to develop candidate talent pipelines through sourcing channels, recruitment sites, networking, social media, database searches, and referrals within 6 months of hire
