Job Summary
Talent Acquisition Specialist role at Brunel in Perth, Western Australia, focusing on blue-collar and mechanical trades within the mining and resources sector. Manage end-to-end recruitment across a portfolio of trades roles, source and engage candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK Talent Search and internal databases, conduct interviews and assess technical capability and cultural fit, develop talent pipelines, build relationships with candidates and clients, coordinate interviews and onboarding, maintain ATS records, monitor activity with regular reporting, and represent Brunel at networking events and industry functions.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in agency recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Previous experience recruiting skilled trades for Mining and/or Energy
- Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sourcing and headhunting capability using a wide range of recruitment platforms.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach to recruitment.
