Job Summary
Manage the full cycle of recruitment and onboarding, including utilizing the Applicant Tracking System, gathering staffing needs, and publishing job ads. Screen candidates, schedule interviews, and prepare job offers while participating in recruitment events. Conduct pre-employment screenings, process internal transfers, and guide new hires through documentation and orientation activities. Track sign-on and referral bonuses, manage student onboarding requirements, and recommend procedural improvements. Requires a licensed driver willing to travel the entire service area. This role supports Blue Ridge Care's mission of delivering extraordinary care in hospice, serious illness, and end-of-life services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Prior experience in retail and administrative recruiting
- Must be a licensed driver
- Must have an automobile that is insured according to state and organization requirements
- Must have an automobile that is in good working order
- Must be willing to travel the entire service area
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree
- Healthcare recruiting experience
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize projects, effectively manage time
- Possess interpersonal skills that promote effective communication
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple open positions and meet hiring deadlines
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail
