Job Summary
Talent Acquisition Specialist responsible for executing full-cycle recruitment strategies, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating the selection process across multiple IL offices. Partners with hiring managers and HR leadership to develop job descriptions, attract top talent through diverse channels (job boards, social media, referrals, career fairs, community partnerships), maintains compliant candidate records in ATS, builds talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles, coordinates pre-employment screenings, and supports offer processes. Ensures recruiting practices comply with federal/state employment laws, supports employer branding and recruitment marketing, and provides recruiting metrics insights. Requires travel to regional offices, collaboration with external staffing agencies, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or Behavior Sciences
- 2+ years of full cycle recruitment experience
- Ability to travel to Baxter & Woodman’s regional office locations (own transportation)
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Must be able to identify and resolve problems
- Familiarity with recruitment processes and compliance with federal/state employment laws (EEO, affirmative action)
- Preferred familiarity with ATS tools (ClearCo ATS) and A/E/C industry
