Job Summary

Post job openings and manage applicant tracking systems across multiple organizations while screening all applicants daily to maintain a zero-unscreened candidate pool. Conduct phone screens, candidate assessments, and interview coordination, then draft offer letters, facilitate reference checks, and initiate background screenings. Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and payroll assignments for roles in behavioral health and human services. Maintain weekly hiring reports, manage staffing agency relationships, and represent the firm at job fairs and community outreach. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • SHRM certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
  • Ability to pass background and reference checks
  • Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Cultural competency and inclusive recruitment practices
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Experience recruiting in healthcare, human services, or nonprofit settings
  • Familiarity with labor laws and EEO/AA regulations
  • Experience recruiting for behavioral health, psychiatric rehabilitation, outpatient mental health, assisted living, skilled nursing, or other healthcare settings
  • Experience recruiting for roles in Maryland
  • Solid experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably within behavioral health, psychiatric rehabilitation, outpatient mental health, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, or other healthcare-related settings
  • Strong understanding of Maryland healthcare recruitment challenges, including high-volume hiring, credential-sensitive roles, shift-based staffing needs, licensing requirements, compliance standards, and candidate availability in competitive healthcare labor markets
  • Demonstrated ability to source, screen, interview, and support hiring for clinical, direct care, administrative, and program-level roles in behavioral health or healthcare environments
