Talent Acquisition Representative III - HR Talent Acquisition- Multiple FE locations

Job Summary

Conduct full-cycle recruiting and consulting for FirstEnergy's hiring managers across designated business units, including developing job postings, screening resumes, and managing the SuccessFactors ATS. Partner strategically with hiring managers and diverse industry groups to source passive candidates and ensure appropriate diversity representation at all stages. Execute phone screens, interviews, and benefit overviews while developing salary recommendations and negotiating offers in collaboration with the Compensation department. Maintain thorough documentation of requisition status and selection decisions to ensure compliance with State and Federal employment laws. Serve as the primary point of contact for external candidates and ambassador teams, proactively identifying opportunities for continuous recruiting process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
  • Relevant work experience includes experience in Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, Talent Sourcing or Human Resources
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience for exempt, professional-level positions
  • Demonstrated capabilities for successfully sourcing diverse slates of candidates
  • Experience using creative sourcing strategies and resume mining
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills
  • Sound interviewing, organizational, public relations, negotiation and communication skills
  • Broad knowledge of Employment Laws and HR Policies
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and internet research
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Able to work independently with a high level of professionalism and motivation
  • Able to maintain composure in a high-volume, fast paced environment
  • Proven ability to develop and manage strong relationships with a broad range of individuals at various levels of the organization
  • Available to work before and after standard office hours
  • Able to travel to attend career events and conferences when necessary

Desired Qualifications

  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with the SuccessFactors and/or Oracle ATS
