Talent Acquisition Representative II

Job Summary
Conduct phone screens, interviews, and employee benefit overviews while partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing objectives and develop sourcing strategies. Screen candidates by creating knowledge, skill, and screening questions for each position, then refer qualified individuals to managers while ensuring diversity representation in candidate slates. Negotiate final salary and benefit terms, develop salary recommendations by analyzing internal equity, and present employment offers that sell organizational values. Maintain thorough documentation of requisition status and selection decisions, provide guidance to hiring managers on Federal and State employment law compliance, and attend college career fairs and recruitment events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
- Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience
- In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience
- Relevant work experience includes experience in Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, Talent Sourcing or Human Resources
- Strong working knowledge of/experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Experience with Empower ATS
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Strong sales skills to match candidates with Company's needs
- Strong passive sourcing skills
- A combination of high energy and creativity, backed with strong analytical skills
- Sound interviewing, organizational, public relations, negotiation and communication skills
- Experience with behavioral based interview techniques and ability to coach management appropriately in its usage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability in modelling FE's Values and Behaviors
- Attention to detail and strong customer service focus
- Strong planning and prioritizing skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships with a broad range of individuals at different levels
- Ability to travel periodically with overnight stays in and outside of FirstEnergy territory
