Job Summary

Coordinating the recruitment process from start to finish, including advertising, interview scheduling, and onboarding. Handling data entry tasks and managing key systems like Oracle HCM. Supporting talent acquisition events and employer branding activities, generating and uploading content to social media. Assisting with compliance by managing background checks, security clearances, and HRCore tasks. Acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-ups. Requires proven experience in HR/recruitment, strong organisational and time management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid understanding of compliance across the employee lifecycle. The role is based in North Ryde, NSW, or Canberra, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality recruitment outcomes for clients within Downer’s public services portfolio.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in HR, recruitment or people-related administration
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of compliance requirements across the employee lifecycle (e.g. pre-employment checks, right-to-work, onboarding documentation)
