Job Summary
Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and recruitment team members. Manage job postings across job boards, social media platforms, and the company careers page. Review applications, assist with candidate screening and resume shortlisting, and maintain accurate records within the Workable Applicant Tracking System. Conduct reference checks, prepare offer letters, and support the onboarding process for successful candidates. Track candidate pipelines, provide recruitment updates to stakeholders, and assist with campus recruitment initiatives and employer branding efforts. Monitor recruitment metrics and identify opportunities to improve workflows. This contract role (6 to 8 months) is based in Mississauga, Ontario, with a salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, HR coordination, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service-oriented approach
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other Windows-based software
- Drivers license and access to a vehicle for travel top job fairs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment activities is considered an asset
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), workable would be an asset
- Experience recruiting within the construction, engineering, or professional services industries is considered an asset
