Job Summary
Screen candidate resumes, conduct interviews, and assess applicants for intern and new graduate roles. Plan and execute on-campus recruiting activities like career fairs while managing prospect and candidate pipelines. Partner with hiring managers to conduct intake meetings, secure requisition approvals, and negotiate counter-offers. Leverage recruiting technology platforms to maintain accurate candidate records and provide weekly reports to management. Connect external market conditions with internal workforce demands to build early talent pipelines for critical business needs. Work during normal operating hours with overtime and weekends as required, traveling overnight throughout the US and Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
- At least 1 year of experience full lifecycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment for similar industries, preferred
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with applicant tracking systems
- Ability to travel overnight throughout the US and/or Canada
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
- Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines
- Work overtime and weekends as required
